Remembering 911

Posted in Uncategorized on September 11, 2016 by denvilletv

Sunday, Septrmber 11, 2016 marks the 15th Anniversary of 911. Though it seems like another lifetime it seems like yesterday. I watched the somber and yet beautiful ceremony, televised from ground 0 which has risen since to another World Trade Center. Every name, every eulogy of lives ended to soon without a decent goodbye, touched my heart as others. But short excerpts linger in my mind like, ”We are all ordinary and we are all special” and ” We should see there is more that can bring us together rather than part us. ” words that came from those that lost so much and did as much good in the memory of their love ones.

Today, at 6:00 PM there will be a special ceremony at the Morris County September  11th Memorial on West Hanover  Avenue  in Parsippany-Troy Hills across from the Morris Hills Healthcare Center adjacent to the Morris County Public Safety Academy.  Fire Department Companies from across Morris County, including Denville Department, will attend this 911 event.
