Hello viewers

First I would like to inform you that DCTV has progressed to live stream video thanks to Lloyd Nilsen of Applied Multimedia (lloydnilsen@gmail.com) and Fritz Mott.   You can view the latest Denville Board of Education Public Meeting, March 27 2010 on http://www.livestream.com/denvilletownship.

On Denville TV Youtube channel (http://denvilletv.com)  you can view the latest upload of Denville Mayor Ted Hussa talking about recycling (March 27 2010) and how it could be a remedy to the hike in Denville garbage fees. The interview takes place at the Denville DPW (Department of Public Works) on Morris Ave. off of Savage Road.    You can see many other videos, uploaded the last couple of years, of events in Denville, NJ

Finally DCTV is anticipating the airing of a new show on Cablevision Public Access Channel

Part 1  The Commemoration of Evacuation Day in Denville

Part 2  Interviewing of Denville Members of CERT and RACES

Cablevision Public Access Channel 21 in Morris County                       Wednesday, April 14, 2010 (hopefully)  from 7:00-7:30 PM

When I first heard about Evacuation Day I thought it meant running for the hills.   It is a holiday that has been resurrected to commemorate the leaving of the British Troops, in 1783, following the American Revolutionary War .   The holiday has now been connected with homeland security and the volunteer groups of CERT and RACES.  When you watch this show you will be able to see the connections.   On the Denville Youtube channel you can see a part of this show, Martha Lieblich from Cross Roads of the Revolution (http://www.revolutionarynj.org/) speaking at the Commemoration of  Evacuation Day on Denville Beacon Hill.
